star society 2025 recap
because i need to do something with this blog
whenever i made this blog i wasn't necessarily sure what i would do with it - but only that i would probably come up with something eventually. for some reason it didnt hit me that posting about label related matters would probably be a good idea. heres some of the relevant stuff that happened in 2025 regarding us!
bleeder releases their debut album!
with a sophomore album coming soon enough, its fun to look back upon the project that was initially released around half a year ago, midway through 2025. in retrospect a lot of this project was experimenting and getting used to the recording process for them i would imagine - but it doesn't necessarily show, the tracks hold up extremely well and some are just downright amazing. im hoping for a remaster of some of them in the near future. :)
bullbird releases oct-nov demos 2025
right before his hiatus this year bullbird released this absolutely gorgeous instrumental EP, words can't necessarily do it justice - especially considering that it has no lyrics. for simply being demos the tracks on this short project carry so much beauty and are arranged so incredibly well.
keygen releases SoundForSoul
featuring unfairly talented underground producers o'shea, gotchigo, tenkiesoul, panda, and star society member yomi, this is an almost 14 minute long beat compilation with so many pleasant surprises in its runtime, the versatility is absolutely nuts and its just generally amazingly well produced on all fronts.
alakai releases how to fall asleep without dreaming
i won't pretend im not the one writing this, but this is a long new age effort produced by me under my alias Echt Gaze. it features a lot of sampled orchestral instruments and droning textures and really pretty sounds as well as some deeper personal implications. as of writing this it is my best project and it likely will be for a while. :D
there was more that did happen during last year! i would be here typing for a while if i went over it all. but hopefully in the future, ill be better at keeping logs on everything. here's to even more music in 2026!
